Our value depends not on how long we live,
but on how much we contribute.

แต่ อยู่ที่การอุทิศตนมากหรือน้อย
過去已成虛 幻，
未來尚是夢 想，
把握現在最重 要。
As the past has faded into misty
memories, and the future remains
a dream unrealized, seizing the
present is most important
อดีต คือความว่างเปล่า อนาคตยังเป็นความฝัน
ปัจจุบัน สำคัญที่สุด
不用牽掛過 去，
不必擔心未 來，
踏實於現在，
就與過去和未 來同在。
There's no need to be concerned about
the past or the future. Live fully in the
present, and you are connected with
both the past and the future

ปฏิบัติ อย่างตั้งใจ ณ ปัจจุบันก็จะเสมือนอยู่ใ
นอดี ตและอนาคต
智慧，
不是知識、不 是經驗、不是思辯，
而是超越自我 中心的態度。
Wisdom is not knowledge,
nor experience, nor dialectical excellence,
but a selfless attitude
สติ ปัญญาไม่ใช่ความรู้ไม่ใช่ประสบการณ์
ไม่ใช่ เป็นการโต้เถียง
แต่ เป็นพฤติกรรมที่เหนือตัวตน
積極人生，謙 虛滿分；
自我愈大，不 安愈多。
A positive life pivots on modesty;
the bigger the ego,
the greater the insecurity.
การมี ชีวิตที่กระตือรือร้นและถ่อมตนคือความสม
บูรณ์ พูนสุข การมีอัตตายิ่งมากยิ่งไม่เป็นสุข
上等人安心於 道，
中等人安心於 事，
下等人安心於 名利物欲。
The noble pursue the path,
the average pursue their duties,
and the misguided pursue
fame and fortune
คนชั้น สูงใส่ใจในธรรม คนชั้นกลางใส่ใจในการงาน
คนชั้น ต่ำใส่ใจในชื่อเสียงและผลประโยชน์
你是有哪些身 分的人，
就應該做那些 身分的事。
Live up to your role and status,
and fulfill your required duties
เราควรทำในสิ่งที่ เหมาะสมกับตำแหน่งหน้าที่ของเรา
在安定和諧 中，
把握精彩的今 天，
走出新鮮的明 天。
In peace and harmony,
seize the promise of today,
and live out a fresh tomorrow
ท่าม กลางบรรยากาศของสันติสุข และความมีสมาน
ฉันท์ เราควรใช้ชีวิตอย่างมีสีสัน และสดใส
擔心，是多餘 的折磨；
用心，是安全 的動力。
While worry fuels unnecessary torment,
carefulness breeds security
ความ กังวล เป็นส่วนเกินของอุปสรรค
ความ ตั้งใจ เป็นพลังที่น่าไว้วางใจ
財富如流水， 布施如挖井。
井愈深，水愈多；
布施的愈多， 財富則愈大。
Wealth is like running water, and
giving like digging a well. Just as the
deeper the well, the more water it
holds; the more you give,
the more wealth you have
ความ ร่ำรวยเสมือนตาน้ำ การทำทานเหมือนเจาะบ่อ
บ่อ ยิ่งลึก น้ำยิ่งมาก การทำทานยิ่งมากยิ่งร่ำรวย
面對生活，要 有
「最好的準 備，最壞的打算」。
In life,
we must make the best preparations,
and be ready for the worst
การ ดำเนินชีวิตต้องมีการวางแผนให้ดีที่สุดและคาด
หมายผล ว่าแย่ที่สุดจะเป็นอย่างไร
只要還有一口 呼吸在，
就有無限的希 望，
就是最大的財 富。
As long as we still have breath,
we have boundless hope, and the
breath we have is the greatest wealth
การมีลมหายใจเป็นความ หวังและเป็นสิ่งที่มีคุณค่าที่สุด
救苦救難的是 菩薩，
受苦受難的是 大菩薩。
Those who aid and deliver the
suffering are bodhisattvas,
and those in the throes of suffering
are great bodhisattvas
ผู้ที่ ช่วยปลดทุกข์ภัยคือพระโพธิสัตว์ผู้ที่ได้รั
บทุกข์ ภัยคือพระโพธิสัตว์องค์ใหญ่
超越生老病苦 三原則：
活得快樂、病 得健康、
老得有希望。
To transcend the sufferings of birth,
old age, and sickness,
keep to the three principles: live happily,
face illness with a healthy mind,
and embrace old age with hope
หลักสาม ประการในการดำรงชีวิตเหนือการเกิดแก่เจ็บตายคือ
1 ใช้ชีวิตอย่างมีความสุข 2 กายป่วยแต่จิตเข้มแข็ง
3 แม้จะแก่ชราทว่ายังมีความหวัง
超越死亡三原 則：
不要尋死、不 要怕死、不要等死。
To transcend the suffering of death,
keep to the three principles:
never seek death, never fear death,
and never wait for death to come
การใช้ ชีวิตทรงเกียรติสง่างามโอ่อ่าอยู่เหนื
อความ ตายสามประการ
1 อย่าหาที่ตาย 2 ไม่ต้องกลัวตาย 3 อย่ารอความตาย
死亡不是喜 事，也不是喪事，
而是一件莊嚴 的佛事。
Death is an occasion for neither
mourning nor celebrating,
but one for solemn Buddhist practice
สำหรับ พุทธศาสนาแล้ว ความตายไม่ใช่สิ่งที่น่ายินดี
แต่ก็ ไม่ใช่เรื่องที่น่าเสียใจ
ความ ตายนั้นเป็นเรื่องอันทรเกียรติ
每一個孩子，
都是幫助父母 成長的小菩薩。
Every child is a little bodhisattva
that helps the parents grow
เด็ก ทุกคนเปรียบเสมือนพระโพธิสัตว์ที่ช่วยให้
คุณพ่อ คุณแม่ได้เรียนรู้และพัฒนาตนเอง
對青少年，要 關心不要擔心，
要誘導不要控 制，用商量不用權威。
With adolescents, we should care,
but not worry about them; guide,
but not control them; and communicate
with, but not command them
การ ดูแลเยาวชน ควรห่วงใยแต่ไม่ต้องกังวล
และใช้ วิธีชักจูงแต่ไม่ต้องบังคับ
愛你的孩子， 與其擔心，
不如祝福吧！
To love your children,
rather than worry about them,
just give them your blessings!
การรักลูก ใช้การอวยพรให้ลูกดีกว่าคอยกังวลใจ
夫妻是倫理的 關係，
不是「論理」 的關係。
The relationship between a
husband and wife is governed
by marital ethics, not logic
สามี ภรรยาอยู่ร่วมกันตามขนบธรรมเนียมประเพณี
ไม่ได้ อยู่ร่วมกันเพราะความพึงพอใจ
能不亂丟垃 圾，隨時清撿垃圾，
都是做的功 德。
By just picking up litter and
refraining from littering,
we are doing meritorious deeds
การไม่ ทิ้งขยะ และเก็บแยกขยะอย่างสม่ำเสม
อเป็น การสร้างบุญกุศล
眼光，是你的 智慧；
運氣，是你的 福德。
Vision is derived from wisdom;
luck, from blessings
วิสัยทัศน์คือสติปัญญา ของคุณ โชคลาภคือบุญของคุณ
喜愛的就想佔 有，討厭的就會排斥，
患得患失，煩 惱就來了。
To crave your likes but reject your dislikes
will plunge you into constant anxiety.
Once there, you are prey to vexations
สิ่ง ที่ตนรัก ก็คิดอยากจะครอบครองเป็นของตน
สิ่ง ที่รังเกียจ ก็จะหาทางกำจัดมัน
ในใจมี แต่กลัวได้กับเสีย ความทุกข์ก็จะเกิดแก่ตนเอง
經常少欲知足 的人，
才是無虞匱乏 的富人。
Those content with few desires
will never want
ผู้ที่ มีความโลภน้อย รู้จักพอ
จึงจะ นับได้ว่าเป็นคนรวยที่ไม่ขาดแคลน
心不平安是真 正的苦，
身體的病痛不 一定是苦。
Bodily ailments do not
necessarily constitute suffering.
An unsettled mind does
ความ ทุกข์ที่แท้จริง เกิดจากจิตใจที่ไม่สงบสุข
การ ป่วยกายใจอาจไม่ใช่ความทุกข์
明知心不平安 是苦事，
就趕快以持念
「南無觀世音 菩薩」
來安心吧！
To eliminate the suffering
induced by an unsettled mind,
just start reciting Guanyin's
name to restore your inner peace.
เมื่อ ได้รู้ว่าความทุกข์เกิดจากใจที่ไม่สงบสุข ก็ควรรีบสวด
นะโม เจ้าแม่กวนอิมพระโพธิสัตว์ เพื่อทำให้จิตสงบ
現在擁有的， 就是最好的。
擁有再多也無 法滿足，
就等於是窮 人。
What we have now is the best. He who
can never be satisfied is a poor man,
no matter how much he owns.
ปัจจุบัน ที่มีอยู่คือสิ่งที่ดีที่สุด ถ้าเรามีมากกว่านี้แล้วยั
งไม่ รู้สึกพอ ก็เปรียบเสมือนคนยากจนคนหนึ่ง
